Urgent requirement for the position of Asst. Manager - Procurement (HVAC) at Sterling & Wilson for Bangalore location. Job Description: - Plan & arrange materials on time with best quality & price. - Monitor & co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time - Source and develop new vendors - Get competitive quotes from vendors, make comparison, negotiate & finalize orders in reasonable time. - Reduce material cost and increase savings - Identify quality suppliers and establish long term relationships - Ensure adherence to QMS procedures in all activities in purchase - Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data & pricing in the system. - Track vendor performance by checking vendor rating & assess progress based on necessary inputs. Desired Profile: - Candidate should have experience in procurement of materials for HVAC Projects in a contracting or construction firm. - Candidate should possess good innovative, analytical & negotiating skills apart from good communication skills to interact with various vendors, suppliers, clients & consultants. - Candidate should have the ability to lead, manage & influence vendors, clients & consultants.
