Job Description:

• Leading team of internal/external engineers & providing technical guidance as required for all HT/LT motors related engineering activities of projects/tenders.
• Preparation/ checking of RFQ specifications for HT/LT motors in tender/Project execution stage according to project specific requirements.
• Review of vendor offers, preparation/review of TTAs.
• Review of post order vendor docs/data sheets.
• Issue Technical specification for MV, LV and DC Motor.
• On-time delivery of Project Engineering documentation according to the applicable Technical Rules/ Regulations/ Standards aligned with the project and contractual requirements, ensuring completeness and full compliance of the deliverables with the contractual specifications like:
• System Study / Motor starting study
• Technical specification
• P&IDs
• Design Manual
• Signal Exchange List
• Analogue and Logic Diagrams
• Mechanical interfaces lists and electrical consumers list
• Provides input for the preparation of the equipment calculation notes and ensures the follow-up and approval of Calculation Notes.
• Provides input for the preparation of the Master Time Schedule and prepare EDM.
• Responsible for Design control and Design freeze process for their scope
• Analyzing and commenting on the electrical and control parts of equipment documentation
• Analyzing customer comments and Technical Queries and providing resolutions/compliances.
• Provide Design Data to the package owner.
• Participates in design and/or technical reviews (internal/external)
• Ensuring proper interfacing with the mechanical equipment for which motor to be provided. Ensuring proper interfacing with civil team for foundation/installation related requirements.
• Participate in FAT (test preparation, tests and subsequent actions after tests)
• Support the site Construction and Commissioning team through troubleshooting, supporting on claim settlement, close-out punch lists etc.
• Prepare reply/engineering disposition/resolution of Non Conformance Reports (NCR) and take the necessary actions.
• Capture feedback of experience from the past/ongoing projects in the Experience Response System (ERS).
• Prepare engineering status/progress report on the assigned tasks.
• Validate documents with the appropriate engineering status and distribute according to the project specfic distributor key.
• Tendering/ISP activities:
• Lead/support to tender team as per requirement.
• Lead/support to standardization/cost out efforts.
