1. The Technical Sales Engineer reports directly to the Sales Manager and is responsible for performing all
2. aspects of pre-sales support and training within the SITECH Technology Dealership. The Technical
3. Sales Engineer is a primary member of the consultative sales team. Customer satisfaction is the key
4. component of the Technical Sales Engineers success. A technical sales engineer combines technical
5. knowledge with sales skills. The emphasis of the work varies depending on the level of technical
6. knowledge needed to sell products and services and respond effectively to clients queries.
7. Primary Duties
8. Primary source of pre-sales support and training for the divisional sales department
9. Prepares and provides technical sales demonstrations as requested
10. Supports marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
11. Manages and interprets customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate
12. Extensive survey and construction experience in the Heavy Civil Construction, subdivision,general roading, street, and commercial site development areas.
13. Experience in advanced grading, 3D modeling, CAD and computers- AutoCAD, Micro station
