Job Description:

• To follow through on all outstanding matters from site or engineering surveys in order to provide timely and complete design information.
• To communicate and coordinate the scope of works of all survey participants in order to establish a common understanding of objectives leading to thorough reports
• To support the design department in coordinating consultants in order to ensure that the resultant designs address the requirements of the site in accordance to the project plan
• To coordinate site or engineering surveys in order to prepare reports in a timely and complete manner and to ensure efficient resolution of issue
• To coordinate with sub-contractors, authorities and other stakeholders in order to ensure the sequence of work and interfaces are properly managed
• To develop and enforce safe work methods, systems and procedures in order to ensure subcontractors work methods are in compliance with industry standards and to Leightons systems and procedures
• To ensure sub-contractors have sufficient resources in order to meet agreed productivity targets
• To identify risks in order to implement mitigating measures
• Ensure the timely preparation of construction programmes, section detailed schedules and required revisions during the construction stage based on contractual information and incorporating company requirements, dates and preferences using the company approved/ client specified software
• Assist on contract administration by highlighting contractual deliverables and milestones
• To provide technical support to the Project Managers in order to ensure that the works comply with the technical specifications
• To plan resources (right quality, on time and cost) in order to meet the completion of the section
• Promote an interest and enthusiasm within the required work for health, safety and environment. Self promote and lead on best practice and act in accordance with the prescribed management system and procedures in fulfilling an injury and incident free working environment.
