Openings For EHS Officer Contract Role | Space Matrix Design Consultants Pvt Ltd | 3 - 7 yrs | Mumbai

Job Description:

1. You will responsible for understanding of standards relating to EHS including ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
2. You will be responsible for developing and deploying methods and technologies for Risk Assessment and Control.
3. You will be conducting investigations and running EHS Audits of various contractors working on site and confirm adherence to EHS practices.
4. You will be responsible for preparing weekly reports on site EHS status and presenting the same to project owners
5. You will be responsible for strict adherence to PPE and its applicability on various sites
6. You will be responsible for conducting various EHS promotional activities on site and conducting toolbox meetings in order to create awareness on the safety measures. 
7. You will responsible for conducting and participating in internal safety meeting reviews with various project stakeholders
8. You will be responsible for the implementation of Emergency preparedness plan            ( EMP ) on the project site. 
9. This position requires detail orientation, a process driven approach, quick problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
10. You are a EHS professional with minimum 3-4 years of experience in the building construction industry with relevant experience of managing safety for construction/ interior projects.
11. You have a diploma or degree in engineering / industrial safety or a related discipline.
12. You have knowledge of legal and other requirements related to construction industry. 
13. You should be a team player with excellent technical knowledge of construction and interior work for WHS activities.
14. You have the ability to work in a fast paced environment independently without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
