Mechanical Design Engineer Jobs in Frames Process & Energy Systems India Pvt Ltd is  the business of offering Design and Detail Engineering solutions for the oil, gas and petrochemical Industry.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for the technical design of equipment (static and rotating) and components, including cost efficiency and conformity to customer specifications, as per agreed schedule 
2. Ensuring operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design
3. Ensuring engineering documentation is available for design of piping and equipment lay-outs
4. Responsible for checking engineering documentation of the equipment (static and rotating)
5. Takes ownership of design and decides on details where required
6. Responsible for handling technical communication with external engineering parties and where applicable with clients
7. Early identification to project manager of concerns with the necessary corrective action
8. Working methods are in accordance with the Quality Management Systems
9. Ensuring an adequate knowledge level is maintained in the field of expertise.
10. Developing, knowledge and skills to be able to address current and future project and market demands
11. Identification of specification impact on budget and design
12. Preparing engineering package in accordance with commercially available materials and components based on PID in accordance with client, company and/or national/international specifications
13. Reviewing and assessing both internal and external engineering packages of equipment (rotating and static) and components in cooperation with the other disciplines (InterDisciplinary Check) 
14. Incorporating changes in documents (in-house or others) according to QMS and informing all relevant parties of these changes 
15. Checking documents related with the equipment (rotating and static) and components which are made by draftsmen.
16. Participate in project close-out meeting
17. Construction and delivery
18. Participate in work-start meetings when initiated by Project Engineer
19. Provide technical support for construction, assembly and testing activities
20. Participate in R&D projects
21. Develop company standards
