Requirement For Sr. Manager Accounts | Coastal Marine Construction & Engineering Ltd | 14 - 24 yrs | Mumbai

Job Description:

• Responsible for finalization of accounts and preparations of balance sheet
• Responsible for completing all the compliance formalities related to;
• Sales Tax Act
• VAT Act
• Companies Act, 2013
• Income Tax Act
• Any other acts as applicable as per the business requirements
• Attending to Auditors as the schedule/ requirements
• Responsible for inventory control, fixed assets control, debtors & credits control
• Control all sites and overseas accounts as per system laid down by the company
• Control and monitor site budget
• Preparation of data for register of foreign remittance
• Check and verify all site POs and compliances as per system laid down by the company
• Control all sites and overseas petty cash account
• Check and verify and reconcile site/ overseas bank accounts
• Control all site/ overseas payables
• Control all projects including overseas receivables and outstanding
• Generating MIS report and submitting to the management 
• Ensure that site account ledger is maintained and scrutinized periodically and exercise credit control
• Resolve accounting discrepancies if any
• Conduct training for subordinates to enhance their knowledge on statutory compliance & accounting system
• Responsible for overall supervision of accounts department
• Responsible for establish an annual budget and managing cash accounts
• Ensure record of books of accounts; also responsible for finalization of accounts
• Responsible for completing statutory compliances related to the department
• Responsible for coordinating with client, vendors, banks, government authorities, auditors etc and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and salary
• Oversees monthly/yearly closing processes, manages resources and time, reviews all journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, variance explanations and prepares all reporting
• Reports to Director, and providing regular input on all accounting activity
• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures
• Coordinates with external auditors for statutory or other audits purpose
• Coordinates with internal auditors in implementation of an effective internal control system within the company
• ISO systems and compliances to be followed at every stage
