Job Description:

• Minimum of 5 years experience with delivery of IT solutions within the EPC, Plant industry, and are likely to have worked for an IT solutions provider or a plant EPC company
• Hands on experience within several or all areas of the typical EPCs business process related to:
• Management of Project Catalogues and Specifications
• Project Engineering Material Control from estimates to final quantities
• EPC Project - Procurement and Supply Chain
• EPC project - Construction management and control of materials on site 
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of written English
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce specifications and presentations
• Comfortable presenting to large audiences, such as user groups
• Business analysis skills using formal analysis techniques
• Ability to communicate well with business contacts, management and peers
• Must be a self-starter and able to work without explicit direction
• Must work effectively as part of distributed team
• Knowledge, Skills & Experience advantageous
• Involvement in software development including complex enterprise applications
• Experience of agile software development methodology & software development lifecycle 
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Good all-round IT knowledge
• Experience in some of the following areas would be an advantage: XML, SQL; relational database theory and physical design; common architectures and integration techniques; knowledge of client and server platforms; hosted deployment models
• Ensure the team is building software products that meet the business requirements
• Define the requirements for deliverables, based on the business strategy agreed by Product Strategy
• Build a detailed understanding of and Work with a variety of sources to establish detailed requirements: Product Manager, Global Services, Customers, Industry standards and Industry research organisations
• Produce suitable documentation (specifications, storyboards etc.) for product development and test activities
• Host sprint planning workshops internally to produce clear development direction for iterations
• Participate in release and sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, demos and other project meetings
• Review deliverables and demonstrable software after every sprint, with authority to accept or reject.
• Work with Technical Author to produce user documentation
• Provide 2nd line Support
• Produce estimates in co-operation with developers and testers
• Produce presentations
• o to support Roadmap proposals to the business
• o to support product delivery
• Plan and deliver training and learning activities in the form of demos, webinars, workshops both internally in AVEVA and externally for ERM customers
• Contributes to continual improvement of methods, processes, templates, tools, to improve efficiency, repeatability and knowledge transfer
• Important Working Relationships
• Develop and maintain strong and healthy working relationships with Product Managers, Developers, Testers as well as stakeholders in GS/PS/TPS to establish requirements, produce solutions per requirements and presentation material
• Work with ERM management to define release scope and priorities
• Work with development as a key, contributing member of development teams
• Work with architects and user experience experts to optimise product behaviour supporting business requirements
