Job Description;

Engineering Manager (Process Design) / Process Design Engineer (Environmental) with sound technical knowledge and hands on experience in detail process design of Water Treatment Plants (WTP) for Municipal/Desalination, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), D.M Plants, Reverse Osmosis Plants. The candidate should be well conversant with IS codes and CPHEEO manual, and other related national / International standards.Location: Chennai.

Required years of Experience:  3-8 yrs.experience

Educational Qualification:
B.Tech / B.E. in Civil / Chemical Engineering and M.E. / M.Tech in Environmental Engineering
Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of Process Design Basis, Process Description & Treatment Philosophy for Water Treatment Plants, Sewage Treatment Plants, D.M Plants, R.O Plants and Effluent Treatment Plants for both tender as well as operating jobs
• Detailed Process Design Calculations involving sizing of various units of the Treatment Plants
• Preparation of various Bill of Quantities viz. List of Civil Units, List of Mechanical Units, Electrical Load list for various mechanical drives involved in the Treatment Plants, List of instruments for all units, Chemical & all other utility consumption data
• Preparation of Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Hydraulic Flow Diagram (HFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), Overall Layout Plan of the whole plant
• Preparation of General Arrangement (GA) Drawings for each unit
• Preparation of technical specifications for all mechanical / rotary units
• Co-ordination with various vendors for getting the technical offers for various electro-mechanical units & evaluation of these technical offers
• Coordination with inter departments viz. Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Piping Job
