Openings for Construction Management - QA/QC for a Steel Structure | CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd | 5 - 10 yrs | Delhi NCR

Job Description:

1. Experienced in developing the quality plan for steel construction works covering -
a. Factory stage fabrication checks for built-in sections and the standard sections
b. Complete clarity on the checks required for the off-site & on-site welded connections/methods
c. Quality of other end connections (bolted, riveted etc)/methods
2. Exposure & experience to the quality/EHS checks during the erection and installation
3. Exposure to the IS and ASTM standards for the material test and best practices
4. Since this is fully glazed building, it is important the candidate has relevant experience of quality management of the interfaced works steel with glazing; steel with concrete (composite sections or deck slabs); steel with cladded metal/hooked natural stone etc.
5. Experience of quality checks on the fire proof coating and any other coated protections that are needed.
6. Able to integrate quality method statements with the EHS method statements
7. QC checks for the on-site material supply, stacking & retrieval.


We may have a general contractor for steel construction, the expectation on the QA/QC person will be very specific to quality management (risk based approach).
