L&T Construction - is looking for QUALITY ENGINEERS (SOIL / CONCRETE) for their Dedicated Freight Corridor Project (Indian Railways) being executed between Iqbalgarh and Vadodara

Location : Anywhere in Gujarat
Civil Engineers with good hands-on experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in Large linear projects in Highway/Railway/Bridges/Heavy Structures can apply for this position.


Major Responsibilities

Checking and supervision of In house/ Third Party Material testing of Construction Materials for Road/Bridges/Flyover Projects
Preparation and submission of inspection reports as per IRC and other relevant standards
Quality Checking of Various Structures as per QAP
Supervision of work done by Sub Contractors/ Testing Agencies
Preparation of QAP, Documentation of Test s and Reports
Coordination with Site Execution Team/Sub Contractor/Vendors, PMC Team/ Client Representative at Site level.

Desired Candidate Profile
Engineers should have thorough knowledge in Quality Control processes for Road Projects/Railway Projects/Metro Rail Projects/Large Structures ilke Flyovers, Bridges.
Should have good hands on experience in the following areas
Geo Technical Investigation
Soil Testing -Dry Density/Gradation Test
Concrete Test- Slump, Strength Test etc
Cement Testing - Consistency, Fineness, Soundness Test
Aggregate TestQUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Graduate/DCE in Engineering /Technology in Civil/Structural Engineering from reputed institute
5 -10 years experience in QUALITY CONTROL/QUALITY ASSURANCE areas for Road /Highway /Railway Track Construction /Bridges Structures /Flyover/Metro
Good technical / functional acumen and good communication skills DESIRABLE
Experience in Railway/DFCC projects will be preferable
Experience in Large infrastructure- Roads/Highways/Railway projects/Bridges/Flyovers will be desirable
