Urgent Hiring - QC Engineer - Civil Sowparnika Projects and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd | 2 - 6 yrs | Trivandrum

Sowparnika Projects & Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading construction industry in South India, is looking for dynamic person who can extend their skills & efforts in the area of bringing Quality in the area of Civil Execution. Candidates with vast extensive experience in Construction Industry preferably into building and construction of Residential Apartments would be preferred.

Location : Trivandrum

Job Description

1. Checking of the quality parameters from the sub structure stage to finishes as per the specification
2. Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports
3. Coordinate with the consultants representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
4. Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary
5. Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes as described in project specific contract documents
6. Conduct preparatory, initial and follow up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work. Verify that checklists are being used and signed off prior to the placement of concrete, steel and other similar items of work
7. Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project
8. Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering constructionrelating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
