Role dimensions of a General Manager Procurement – Civil & New Infrastructure:

Support procurement category sourcing of Civil and New Infrastructure.
Sourcing of civil categories such as steel, cement, structures, furniture, modular workstations & all building services including HVAC, Electrical, Firefighting, IBMS, PA System etc & Service/ AMC negotiation with contractors
Identification of subcontractor with requisite experience and manpower resource, Evaluation, finalisation of order & placing of the order with clearly outlined scope of work & commercial terms and conditions. Monitoring service levels and providing feedback as appropriate for successful supplier management
Exposure to STP, SEZ and customs requirements/compliance. Commercial knowledge on Taxation and statutory compliance.
Knowledge of SAP MM & SCM, MIS preparation, Budgetary Controls & reporting
Understanding the purchasing process and strategies for all civil and infra categories including raw materials, Building services and AMCs
Preferred Diploma/Engineering degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
