Job Details:

The position will be supportive team member to the power trading team and independently working on power trading activities. The incumbent shall be responsible for the following functions:
Collection and analysis of power market database
Dealing with all commercial activities related with Power Trading viz. signing of LOI and Energy Bills.
Optimization of Transmission Corridor booking for access transactions.
Scheduling and other Operational Activities of Power Trading.
Regularly monitor the revenues, credit management, & cost management.
Functional Excellence, Good Negotiator, Drive for Results, Enabling Decision Making, Taking Ownership, People Development, Interpersonal Effectiveness
Identify tradable surplus; make contact with Generating companies, OA consumers, participating in Tenders, Collection of Data for statistical analysis of price trending and tradable surpluses.
Support to trading team for PPA agreement preparation, Regulatory, commercial, Marketing and Business plans.
Keeping track of Future Opportunities, Future Business Plans, Communicating with Higher and Lower Management pertaining to business plans, strategies, Employee needs etc. Job Profile of Engineer/Sr. Engineer -Power Trading

Experience: 2-5 Years of experience.

Location: Hyderabad.

Desired Candidates Profile:

Preferably B.E (Electrical) with MBA (Finance)

Must have the fair knowledge of Indian Power Market structure, power trading, transmission open access, tariff based competitive bidding, scheduling and dispatch procedures, and regulations of CERC, SERC & CEA.

Must have 2-5 year experience in power sector
