Senior/Lead Engineer-Clean Utility | NNE Pharmaplan | Bangalore

Job description

Main tasks / responsibilities (Describe max. 7 main tasks and if needed add sub-tasks)

Project work in medium-sized to large projects, focusing on Concept, basic and Detailed Design for water system and clean utility like purified water, WFI and Pure steam system, including BOQ’s, Drawings and Tender documents.

Construction and Commissioning/ Qualification and working together with lead engineers.
Solve tasks independently. Complexity according to experience.
Ensure changes to the scope of work are brought to the attention of the project management.
Ensure quality/review and compliance with codes and regulations of own work.
Alternatively project work in small projects, working independently or with other engineers.

1. Stay update with current good Engineering practice and current design guidelines like ISPE, USP, etc.,
2   Ensure passion and a high degree of employee engagement.

3   Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that the department constantly strive for an optimal   development of both the processes, critical competences and customer relations

Clean Utility 

1. Study raw water analysis report and propose the right configuration based on system requirement.   

       2  Design & Sizing of water pre-treatment system.      

       3  Design & Sizing of WFI, PW Tanks, Pump pressure drop calculation, clean utility loop   design calculation and sizing.

       4  Preparation of technical specification for water pre-treatment system, WFI Generation system, Purified water generation system.     

       5.Preparation of tender document for clean utility package.

       6 Develop treatment system Layout Drawings including Pipe routing

       7  Develop Installation Packages       

       8 Execute FAT,SAT,IQ, and OQ

Educational Qulaifications:   

1. Bachelor in Engineering Chemical/ Mechanical or similar.

Experience (professional experience)

1. Around 10 years of experience mostly within the discipline.
2   Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, High purity Water industry is a must.

3   Knowledge on Pharmaceutical / Biotech Process would be an added advantage

4   Preference would be given to candidates with both Black and Clean Utilities design

5   Proven track record of strong performance

6   Good Knowledge on clean utility system

7   Leadership skills, including people management
