Area Sales Manager/ Senior ASM (egl) - Hyderabad Century Plyboards (I) Limited | 3 - 6 yrs | Hyderabad / Secunderabad
- Develops new project opportunities through personal sales efforts with architects, building owners, property management firms and general contractors involved with new development or renovation work for existing building exteriors.
- Manages the development of faade system sales within the core geography by maintaining a constant awareness of markets and pursues profitable opportunities for faade system sales.
- Promotes products in formal presentations to architects, promoters & applicators
- Coordinates with business partners and installation contractors to ensure successful realization of local facade installations.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive territory sales plan. The sales plan must include account prioritization, call frequencies, strategic account planning, and revenue forecasting
- Responsible for strategy execution, planning, and coordination with fabricators / applicators and promoters within the territory for exterior products.
- Represents 'Exteria' at local chapter meetings for targeted associations and seeks positions of influence within those groups.
- New Channel development & management
- Bachelors degree (B.Tech - Civil / Mechanical ) or Graduate with Diploma - Architecture from an AICTE affiliated university, preferably with a Masters degree in business from top 30 B- Schools of India, with specialization in marketing.
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of progressive sales & marketing experience in the architectural industry and/or building materials industry
- Aluminium composite panels, Toughened glass, Pre- engineered buildings, Exterior grade laminates, Steel / Copper Claddings, Wooden Claddings, Exterior Insulation & Finish Systems, PVC Cladding, Stone Cladding and Fiber Cement Industry with having exposure into plain sheet products only
- Understanding and experience in exterior wall systems and components in faade (preferable).
- Ability to effectively work the position territory through knowledge of industry contacts such as architects, design professionals, installers and other key construction or industry professionals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a wide variety of individuals, including customers, architects, designers, and senior management.
- Ability to engage in effective communications with internal team, Application Specialists, Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing to achieve sales plan and initiatives.
- A general knowledge and ability to work in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Initiative: The capacity to identify opportunities, possibilities and threats, and initiate action.
- Customer Orientation: An understanding of the customers business and/or endeavours that will help obtain a clear picture of the customers underlying wishes and problems; with this in mind, looks for the most suitable products or services for the customer.
- Networking: Creates and maintains a network of (formal and informal) job-related contacts and makes use of it; exchanges relevant information, stays current with news and trends in the industry.
- Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Presents numerical data effectively; Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification;
- Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.
- Candidates having building materials background from Companies will be preferred
- Having exposure to handle Architects and have experience in doing specifications.
