 Qualifications & Skills
  1. Related  4 years University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. Computer literacy
  3. Fluent in Hindi & Very good command of the English language
  4. Minimum 8 years of professional experience
  5. Ability to carry out site inspections, technical & drawing reviews, quality control
  6. Experienced in design review and supervision of Plumbing, Fire Fighting and HVAC works.
  7. Construction and site experience is required
  8. In country experience in mixed use complexes, high-rise building, offices, apartments, hotels, shopping malls projects
Base: Gurgaon – India
Job Description:
Manages project issues and schedules 
Specifies and qualifies mechanical and electro-mechanical components 
Provides technical and operational leadership 
Works with technicians and engineers developing and testing equipment and systems 
Perform other duties as assigned by the Construction Manager as needed
Supports the Lead Engineer in the engineering and management functions required to successfully complete the project. 
Assists in the supervision of engineering, budgeting, and scheduling.
To Maintained Project Files for all Documents and Drawings,
Daily and whenever required to conduct Site Inspection to check work compliance to Design Intent, Quality of works and Site Coordination issues .

Hill International (www.hillintl.com) seeks to recruit for a major development in Delhi/Gurgaon (NCR) area in India:
We are presently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage multiple projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have a minimum of 15 years experience with strong International experience.
  • Experience as Contracts Manager on major developments
  • Experience in Pre contracts and post contracts both
  • Experience in pre and post contract work     
  • Membership to RICS or equivalent is preferred
  • Four Year college degree is preferred

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing and oversee the Contracts and Agreements of Contractors and Consultants ensuring that the requirements of the contract documents are implemented and maintained throughout the Contract period
  • Review all contractual notices of claims and provide contractual advice to the Senior Management in their administration of the Construction Contract.
  • Interaction with the Client representatives, the Project Management Consultant, other Consultants and relevant Contractors in respect of all contractual matters
  • Review all contract documents to ensure congruity and to minimize patent and latent ambiguities
  • Administer on-going Contracts, including monitoring of Contractor compliance with the Contract documents
  • Investigat problems and recommend corrective action
  • Prepare correspondence and maintain records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all Contractual matters
  • Facilitate the preparation of Contract changes and prepare the relevant variation orders in conjunction with the Quantity Surveying Consultant
  • Facilitate the contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to contractor
  • Ensur that all contractual procedures are implemented and maintained
  • Take the lead on all contractual matters
  • Review of Contractor’s claims in accordance with the provisions of the Contract and ensur the Client’s interests are protected
  • Ensure that all warranties, bonds, insurances, guarantees, etc. are in place and maintained and updated in accordance with the Contract and are in compliance with the Clients requirements
  • Liaise with the Quantity Surveying Consultant and Project Control teams in respect of contractual implications of change orders
  • Prepare for review Recommendations for Release of Retention and Bonds
  • Prepare monthly Reports for review
