Job Description:

Preparing rate analysis for cost effectiveness & market rate configuration for material & Labour rates for making Estimates work.Working out quantities for budget purpose & preparation of BOQ cost for effective planning.Preparing detailed estimationPreparing budgets & getting it approved from the management, Co-ordination with purchase & contract department for timely Delivery of Material.Conveying to management about the project status, critical issues, future variation in the cost estimation due to unexpected changes, quick action planning, etc.Preparation of SOP for Estimation Department.Tender Analysis & Negotiation based on analysis.Assisting in contracting / Procurement Strategy.To workout all quantities for civil.To verify Material quantities required for site.To update the quantities as per drawing for Civil.To prepare the data as per square feet cost of item as per area.To prepare a total building budget (Civil, Finishing & Infrastructure)Developing basic sheets of calculation for estimation for civil work.Preparing estimates for initial budgeting based on constants and also complete cost estimate based on quantities & specifications to get the actual cost.Value Engineering during the execution & unforeseen circumstances to bring the Construction cost further low without compromising with the quality.Etiquettes and people management skillsKnowledge of Auto-cad and MSPStrong analytical skillsProactiveAbility to solve problems, take initiative and plan the tasksFlexibility with time to work extra hours when the project requiresAbility to work in a team with high people orientation
The estimation personnel will be defining the estimated cost for the planned project. Once the project starts he will confirm the progress of the project on the basis of estimations prepared by him. He will highlight the variances and reasons behind the same.
