Job Summary
AECOM India is seeking a qualified Resident Engineer - Civil for Project Management Consultancy Services For Vijayawada Railway Doubling Project.

The appropriately qualified applicant should be able to demonstrate an established career in Rail Design and Construction.

The responsibilities of this position would include

• Daily coordination and interaction with contractor,
• Document tracking
• Processing change requests,
• Processing request for information,
• Submittal processing,
• Managing construction management staff,
• Claims mitigation,
• Meeting administration,
• Project close-out and,
• Other tasks associated with project administration.
• Ensures conformance to quality, performance, safety and/or code requirements by overseeing inspection duties. 

Job Location Bhimavaram Site Office, India.
Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution.
• Total at least 10 years for Graduate Engineer or 15 years for Diploma holders.
• Relevant Experience Relevant Experience At least 5 years of experience of construction/ supervision of infrastructure projects of railway line or highways. Or at least years either in Gazetted cadre of Engineering Department of Railways or as Manager (or equivalent) in PSUs either individually or combined. The person should also meet the hurdle criteria of having at least 3 years experience in construction of Civil Engineering works on Infrastructure projects for Railway line/ Highway project in any grade. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Degree/Diploma in Project Management/Construction Management from a recognized institution
• Ideal candidate will be organized, have a strong sense of urgency and quick follow up, driven by results, and have a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills MUST.
