Job Description
- Study all the required drawings and refresh the work instruction of ISO procedure
- Verify and ensure the all the preliminary activities have been carried out by the supervisor, before allowing work to process.
- Verify and ensure that all safety measures / arrangements are made by the supervisor and contractors.
- Raise the Material Requisition in ERP in advance of activity and verify the receipt of material after the completion of activity report the details with actual consumption.
- Supervise all the works in progress and ensure that those executed as per Company’s norms / system in best workmanlike manner including getting the various tests done through supervisor and contractors. Ensure to keep all documentation immediately.
- Report and discuss with Sr. Engineer the tests and results and take further steps.
- Maintain a Diary about his daily work and discus with Sr. Engineer / Project Engineer all the action, decision required to be taken on points related to problems, if any routine progress – safety – quality issues .
- Ensure that the cost / quantity inversed as per Budget or details estimates well in advance.
- Recording of ground levels, marking the boundaries, barricading the Area, strata wise recording measurements.
- Compaction in proper order and test for compaction done.
- Discuss and give decision for change in strata, encountering services lines, overhead wires, nearby tree falling etc.
- Supervise the entire concreting process with reference to established norms and processes, Concrete pour cards filling, material consumption etc.
- Checking of steel reinforcement and recording of measurements.
- Adequacy of formwork, safety, acceptance and rejection procen
- Verification of weigh Batcher transporting of concrete system, cube casting, curing and testing.
- Ensure all row material is tested and approved prior to use.
