Job description


MAIN TASKS
  • To Improve BASF brand in CS (Construction Systems) segment by aggressive sales & marketing strategies & Develop contacts with key/major accounts to maximize the sales. Spot opportunities to increase market share.
  • To develop understanding of decision making map of major customers and develop strong relations with key decision makers in customer organization.
  • Effective management of Channel partners (Distributors/ Applicators) network to gain higher sales & geographical spread.
  • To promote BASF brand to influencers in the market through regular external communications (direct mail-shots, exhibitions, seminars, one-to-one meetings)
  • To provide in-field technical support by helping customers in product selection, trouble-shooting at customer & customer’s customer from time to time.
  • To organize supplies of materials as per customer’s requirements in timely manner by follow-up with BASF supply chain and customer’s supply-chain team
  • To follow-up on customer’s acceptance of supplied materials at QC and store functions in customer organization.
  • To follow-up and collect o/s payments as per pre-agreed payment terms with customers and as directed by line-manager.
