We are seeking a Client Development
Administrator/Coordinator to join the Infrastructure Practice Client
Development Support team.
The Client Development Support team is
an exciting capability for the Practice that was
launched in 2014, bringing together a team of dedicated colleagues that will
design, develop and deploy the best of the firm while innovating and breaking
new ground in support of the Infrastructure Practice’s global client
development support function, including proposal
development, development and management of knowledge repositories.
The candidate will be responsible for
supporting client development efforts and maintaining knowledge repositories
with a particular focus on creating and maintaining
databases and tools (e.g., practice credentials, consultant datasheets, case
studies) relevant for proposal response. The candidate will be a core member of
the Client Development Support team, which is expanding, and be co-located
within the Infrastructure hub in Chennai with the
following responsibilities:
Client development support
Work cooperatively with colleagues
(consultants, contracts, legal and others) as needed to develop compliant,
responsive and distinctive proposals
Develop original content for specific sections of the proposal
Provide timely, effective and targeted
support to Infrastructure client leadership teams for request for proposals and
proposal preparations
Provide guidance and insights on
partnerships, experts and financial arrangements as part of the proposal
response
Provide process management and packaging
support for proposal efforts, in collaboration with consultants and
communications specialists
Manage the
complete Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to
ensure high-quality proposal deliverables
Conduct final compliance and quality
review before proposals are submitted
Post-proposal submission and outcome,
conduct debrief sessions with client leadership teams
to identify wins / losses and also collect feedback on potential improvements,
learnings and competitive insights
Knowledge and content management:
Develop and manage a repository of
client development materials (e.g., RFPs, Proposals,
client references, case examples, resumes, partnerships and competitive
intelligence)
Perform data mining on knowledge
repository and create structure around available documents/information
Build supporting processes and related
infrastructure to systematically capture core aspects of the Infrastructure
Practice materials
Contribute to codifying best practice in
completing formal tenders and provide advice directly to client leadership
teams
Provide guidance and manage repository
of fee models and best practices in consortia partnerships, etc.
Desired Skills:
The successful candidate must possess
the following qualifications:
Minimum three years of relevant
professional experience, preferably in a professional
services firm either in a client development or business development role
Preference for candidates who have
relevant infrastructure industry (real estate, engineering, construction,
transportation infrastructure or infrastructure investors/owners/operators)
Public sector tender experience in
Indian market and experience working with Indian consultants highly desired
Excellent written, verbal and
interpersonal communications skills in formal and informal settings
Ability to interact effectively with all
tenure levels
Excellent administrative skills,
rigorous focus on detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands
High attention to detail with consistent
high-quality results on assigned tasks, showing creativity
and flexibility when needed
Comfortable working independently while
managing and delivering own projects / work streams
Must be able to multi-task, manage
simultaneous deliverables and deadlines with calm and ease
Expert user skills in Microsoft products in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education:
Undergraduate from a reputed institute with a strong academic record
Post graduate in business administration
or policy related program preferred but not mandatory
