Infrastructure Project Manager - Shell - Bangalore

Job description

As an Infrastructure Project Manager you’ll be planning, controlling and executing small/medium-scale project. This will utilise your skills within Project Management, Benefits Management and Change Implementation Planning and Management. On a daily basis you collaborate with a range of stakeholders including Shell business managers, service providers and onshore & offshore suppliers. Your team as well as your scope is Global and remote in nature. Our work environment is professional, culturally diverse, challenging and multifaceted.
You are an experienced Project Manager with at least two full project lifecycle experiences. You have a successful delivery track record of small to medium sized projects, and managing (virtual) teams of 5+ people. Projects will also (include) local contract tendering and renegotiation activities.

Qualifications - mandatory 

• You hold or are working towards a relevant PM qualification, i.e. PMI, IPMA, Prince2

You have a sound understanding of the costs of IT (project and “lifetime”) and the ability to cost operational IT services.Experience – mandatory 

• You have a technical or related subject degree
• You have a successful delivery track record of small/medium sized infrastructure projects, managed through to completion (full lifecycle experience).
• Through effective team leadership, planning, controlling and formally reviewing IT projects, you will have achieved results, including managing multiple projects through to delivery
• You are familiar with a range of analysis, modelling and design methods and have good current knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, applications and trends.
• You collaborate well in a (Global/remote) team environment, sensitive to client’s needs.
• You have experience in Contracting & Procurement and the processes related to tendering and contract renegotiations.

Experience - preferred 

• You are able to document and provide roadmaps/design documents as required
• You present ideas clearly to a wide range of audiences
• You have an understanding of the interdependencies of business processes and information systems
