Vice President Construction- LINDE ENGINEERING INDIA - Vadodara

Job Profile:

Direct and coordinate the business operations of construction. Accountability for all construction activities of Linde Engineering India  comprising construction engineering, subcontracting, construction supervision, and site management. Maintain and develop construction competencies within the Linde Group and in cooperation with Linde Engineering Headquarters, Germany.

            • Develop, launch and implement construction related strategies, objectives and business plans

            • Leadership accountability for and management of the construction organization

            • Direct own reports including delegation of responsibilities, monitoring their duties and business deliverables

            • Implementation of corporate strategies, philosophies and ethics in the construction organization and at construction sites

            • Manage market research and product developments with regard to construction

            • Human resource planning, recruitment and development for the construction organization

            • Construction partnerships assessment and development

            • Close cooperation with and support of construction organization of Linde Engineering home-office

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

            • Formal qualification in Engineering

            • Extended knowledge of construction methodologies and technologies applied within the business

            • Several years of construction experience including management of large construction sites

            • Proven success in managerial positions

            • Clear focus on safety and high quality as well as result oriented profitable growth ambitions

            • Empathic communication and motivation skills

            • High social and cross-cultural leadership and personality competencies

            • Change management and innovation skills

            • Determined and self-assured appearance

            • Excellent track record within the industry as attested to by references
