Job description

·         Graduate engineers with extensive years experience in project management activities under the supervision of Manager of Projects.

·         Demonstrate full commitment to Safety and Quality.

·         Fully conversant with proposals, estimation efforts, engineering and execution in all phases starting from feasability to final handover to client.

·         Fully capable of managing FEED, DE, EPCm and PMC project execution independently or with minimal guidance from Manager of Projects.

·         Fully conversant with all aspects of project execution cycle from engineering to contacting strategies, procurement, field engineering, construction., commissioning and handover.

·         Fully understand contracts, pricing models, liabilities and margins.

·         Capable of preparing Project Procedure, Execution Plans, Quality Plans and assist Project Manager in the proper execution of the project activties.

·         Fully conversant with risk identification and mitigation.

·         Fully understand project budgets, costing, invoicing, cash flow and gross margin.

·         Capable of conducting weekly meetings, preparing/issuing meeting notes, weekly project reports and such other project documentation.

·         Should be very capable of managing/controlling change.

·         Fully capable of working with Sales team on opportunities and proposals, adding value, and providing inputs for preparation of reports and executive summaries.

·         Communicate/coordinate within and outside the project task force to ensure project needs are being addressed in a timely manner,

·         Conduct IAP sessions with Project Controls and ensure the process is completed smoothly.

·         Capable of handling projects of up to 200000 hours independently or with minimal guidance from Manager of Projects.

·         Proven capabilities of interfacing/interacting with all stakeholders including licensors, client, statutory authorities and vendors on all aspects of project execution..

·         Fully understand interfaces between engineering, procurement, contracting and cosntruction and able to anticipate and highlite issues/constaints and mitigate.

·         Participate/help Manager of Projects in conducting client surveys.

·         Should be able to asist Manager of Projects in some routine project department technical and administrative tasks.

Skills & Experience 

·         A degree in engineering in any discipline.

·         Extensive years of experience in Engineering and Design, preferably with engineering consultants/contractors or from client's side.

·         Extensive years of experience in all aspects of project management activities.

·         Knowledge of Primavera/MS Project would be an advantage.

·         Excellent spoken and written English language skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills.

·         Great team working and mentoring skills.

·         Previous experience of independently handling projects of up to 200000 hours would be an advantage.

·         Proven capability of handling large and complex multi-office and multi-discipline project teams

·         Mention any professional affiliations/certifications.

·         Should be open for short travel and deputation to sites where required..

·         Mention location preference and near term mobility readiness.

Indian local national salary and employment terms apply.

This is a permanent position.

The salary for this position is negotiable.
